The broad spectral bandwidth available at mmWaves has generated considerable interest and activity in the licensed bands up to ~80 GHz, as well in recently allocated bands up to 450 GHz and even higher One key challenge to developing systems in these bands is the need for test and measurement (T&M) equipment. Virginia Diodes has developed standard T&M instrumentation up to 1.5 THz for a variety of applications, ranging from scientific to the newly emerging commercial interests.
This free webinar, presented by Jeffrey L. Hesler of Virginia Diodes and organized by WL Academy, will describe testing instrumentation and methods for mmWave and THz measurements. The main focus will be on testing related to 5G and 6G, including wideband signal generation and detection, channel sounding, distortion and EVM, and emissions testing.
